Free Things To Do at Graceland
Strapped for time and/or cash? No worries – you can still enjoy a bit of the Graceland experience. Just be sure to come back and explore it all!
Tour Elvis’ Tupelo
Graceland is a gorgeous mansion of a rock star, but how did he get there? Find out at Elvis’ Tupelo, a free exhibit at Graceland Crossing (across the street from Graceland). The exhibit takes you back to Elvis’ childhood in the Mississippi town and includes artifacts from Elvis’ school days and from his parents, Vernon and Gladys.
Pay Your Respects at the Meditation Garden
There is a special period of time for free-admission walk-up visits to the Meditation Garden at Graceland, where the grave sites of Elvis and members of his family are located. Visitor walk-up times are daily from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. CST. Please note that walk-up hours may be adjusted at any time due to the needs of the property.
Sign the Wall
Almost as iconic as the mansion itself is the wall in front of Graceland. For decades, fans have left love notes, signed their names and snapped pictures at this wall. It’s fascinating just to read the thousands of names, dates and hometowns listed along the wall. Bring a marker and leave your message to the king.
Take the Perfect Selfie
In front of the Graceland Gates, at the Graceland wall, at the Graceland sign, at the Graceland Plaza – there are countless places on the Graceland property to take a quick selfie that’s sure to impress.
